The whole category has the same blind spot
Every faceless-video tool competes on making one video well. None of them look backwards. A generator that starts fresh on every topic has no memory of your last twenty episodes, so it settles into whatever its defaults do best — and the channel quietly becomes one video, published fifty times.
The category’s own buying guides already name the criterion:

Everyone agrees with the diagnosis. Nobody ships the mechanism. Claiming “every video is unique” and regenerating from scratch each time is not a mechanism — it is hoping.
Two parts, one fingerprint space
A planner runs before generation. It picks the next episode’s hook structure, pacing curve, visual treatment and shot cadence away from the cluster your recent episodes occupy. These are generation parameters the pipeline consumes, not labels applied afterwards.
A scorer runs after the render. It embeds the finished episode’s fingerprint and measures the distance to your channel’s recent centre. When your episodes start converging, the number moves, and you find out from a measurement instead of from your retention graph.
Both read and write the same fingerprint schema. The scorer on its own would be a dashboard. Together they are the product.
What stays locked, what varies
A channel is recognisable because some things never move. Your narrator, your grade and your caption style are set once per channel and never varied. Everything structural is fair game. Variance belongs in the writing and the structure — never in the polish.
